Project Phases from the MSBA
Important Dates Coming Up:
- April 14th- MSBA Board Meeting to approve the project and enter into a Project Scope and Budget Agreement that defines the project scope, budget, schedule, and potential MSBA participation in the project, subject to the community’s authorization and financial support (Phases #4 and #5)
- May 19th– West Elementary School Building Committee Public Forum: Virtual meeting via Webex at 7 p.m. Register for the meeting here.
- June 5th- Annual Town Meeting: Town Meeting will need to approve the project by a 2/3rds vote in order to move to the ballot initiative
- June 15th- Ballot Vote: Town votes on a debt exclusion to fund the project outside of Proposition 2 1/2. A simple majority is required to finalize the proposition 2 1/2 override
