ABOUT US

YES to WESP is a Ballot Question Committee organized under Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 55. Its purpose is to advocate for a new public school to replace the current West Elementary School and Shawsheen Preschool facilities. Joel Blumstein

Senior Attorney for US Environmental Protection Agency (retired); former parent representative on AHS School Council and Schedule Committee; former Andover School Committee member, including serving as liaison to West El and Shawsheen Preschool

Johanna Buoncontri

Mom of two boys currently attending West Middle and AHS. Former West El and Shawsheen Preschool parent. Former Shawsheen PAC board member, and Andover Little League volunteer. Current West Middle School PAC board member & volunteer, AHS PAC volunteer, ACE volunteer, and owner of Andover Mums, an online business for the local community of Andover.

Trent DeBonis

Andover HS Class of 2020, former Shawsheen student (2005-2010), Kidcare After-school Counsellor at West Elementary, Tufts University Class of 2024.

Steve Fink

Active community volunteer, including WESP and Bancroft school building projects.  Co-founder of AHS ESIC environmental intern program.  Involved students in other Town projects including the Historic Mill District and Senior Center renovation.  Sanborn, West Middle and AHS parent.  Retired: Worked to ramp high tech businesses.  

Carlie Hornbrook

Former West El and Shawsheen Preschool parent, former West El PTO President, current ACE (Andover Coalition for Education) board member, Vice President of the West Middle School PAC, and Co-Executive Director for Mind Your Business, Inc.

Paul Mackay

Retired. 43 year career in computer software. Chairman of the Council on Aging Advisory Board, member of the Revenue and Expenditure Task Force, Trustees of The Punchard Free School,  Elder Services Task Force and the 375th Anniversary Committee.

Greg Sebasky

Former West Elementary, West Middle, and AHS parent, former Chair of the Andover Green Advisory Board, Sponsor of the Elizabeth Roos Staff Development Fund, CEO of Ascend Learning, LLC.

Jennifer Srivastava

Former West El and Shawsheen parent, former Shawsheen PTO President, current ACE (Andover Coalition for Education) Director, President of West Middle School PAC, President of AHS Boys Soccer, Temple Emanuel Board Member.

Lizzie Vickers

Current West El mom to 3 kids, 4th, 2nd and Kindergarten. Andover Little League volunteer. Sneaker industry veteran, starting career at Saucony, Inc. and spending the last 14 years at Converse, Inc. currently as Global Director, Integrated Marketing. Penn State Alumni mentor.
